Over the last few months, AECB members at the Back to Earth team have been busy developing the first freely accessible, online wood fibre insulation course.

Designed for architects, builders and self-builders, the thirteen module course covers how to specify, source and use wood fibre effectively.

The course was created in response to a growing demand from their clients for one, credible source of information that explains, in detail, everything you would need to know about wood fibre insulation.

Chris Brookman at Back to Earth says: “Whether you are considering wood fibre insulation for a live project or would simply like to learn more about the materials we use, this course is a great place to start. The programme is free to access and we’re encouraging architect practices, building firms and self-builders alike to take the course.”

They have also developed a course exam, allowing participants to test their knowledge of wood fibre insulation. This is free to take with only a small charge (and an additional 50% off for AECB members) incurred for those that wish to become Back to Earth certified.
