The Centre for Efficient and Renewable Energy in Buildings is conveniently situated in central London. CEREB is at the roof level of Building K2 within the LSBU Campus. The closest stations are Waterloo, London Bridge and Elephant & Castle; they are all within walking distance.  Within London there are a number of exciting projects – previous courses benefited from visits to 2 Passivhaus retrofits – 1 domestic and one to Mildmay Community Centre.


Herefordshire Archive and Records Centre, HR2 6LA

The Archive building, completed in 2015, has been design to Passivhaus standards by Architype. It received Passivhaus Certification in February 2016. This provides a fantastic opportunity for you to experience a Passivhaus building first hand as part of the course. Some of the trainers were involved in the building design.

The Plymouth Aquarium has a suite of well equipped training rooms with lots of natural daylight and excellent views, delegates may also explore the exhibits during the course breaks. Delegates who choose to attend the Plymouth course will benefit from a site visit to the recently certified WARM EnerPhit Office. WARM have been involved in a huge range  of Passivhaus and low energy developments from large scale commercial to self-build.
