Does anyone have experience of insulated slab systems such as:

http://www.scandinavianfoundations.co.uk/Products.htm
http://www.isoquick.de/en/aktuelles.html

They seem to be relatively cheap and highly insulated, with all the insulation on the outside of the slab.

It's what we did for our house but DIY with EPS and home made shuttering. Excellent solution and why not power float and polish the slab whilst you are at it.

David Olivier gave us the idea.

I did think about using it as the final surface but what about all me end grain wood flooring that's sitting drying in Welshpool?

I have received a quote from Scandinavian Foundations for my PassivHaus build which is due to start in the spring and I have decided to use them.
