We’re thrilled to announce that our new house in the Cotswolds has been awarded Passivhaus certification (by the Scottish Passive House Centre).

Obviously not the first in the UK, with JPW’s two projects in Wales, and one in Dunoon in Scotland, but we haven’t heard of any that have actually been certified in England – are we the first?...

Lots of info about the project and a diary blog here:  www.aipassivhaus.com

Congratulations!

Out of curiosity, what was the pressure test result? (Over pressure and under pressure)

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks

n50 was 0.247 ac/hr@50pa depressurize, 0.19 pressurise, average 0.2198, and q50 was 0.25m³/h/m² depressurize, 0.2 pressurize, average 0.23

We were pretty chuffed with those results.  Although it's mostly underground (so well waterproofed), and is constructed of precast concrete, so not too many excuses not to achieve good airtightness...
