just more of the Strawman.  Grin  from you HB  Huh  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man
what has this to do with using tax to change behaviour?

I agree fire risk with eps and other types of insulant is a concern and needs to be considered , you started a thread on the subject , why dont you post this info there.
There are many other alternative insulants available and with your experience it would be helpful if you could post info on them on that thread.
As you earlier agreed tax systems can be used to change behaviour , perhaps it could be used to encourage the use of those preferred alternative insulants, those with a less negative impact.
I worked on my first EWIS job as a labourer about 25 years , XPS , GRP mesh render, solvent based finish , rubbish stuff. Later our job was going round doing remedial work , mainly caused from the GRP render straight on top of solid walls, decoupling as a result of what I presumed to be trapped moisture due to the solvent based finish or different thermal movement of the 2 layers.
So how about less of the sensationalism and more info on viable alternative.

How with a question mark and a new thread instead of asking the oposition of insulant misusage for more information ? Why not asking those who want to make money with insulants?

Why only posting non-relevant links, J Ingram?

Why not posting information from independant sources J Ingram?

Why going down the same route as a criminal like the poster purvatori or the OP of this thread ?

Censoring, silencing, distracting,...
it seems that you have come to grips with this forum's purpose.

See these threads:

http://www.aecb.net/forum/index.php/topic,3380.0.html

When moderators censor warnings on criminal activities and keep the forum open for criminals (helping them to comit crimes!) then what do you think the purpose of this forum is ?

Here some more infos:

http://www.umweltbundesamt.de/produkte-e/flammschutzmittel/brom.htm

http://www.umweltbundesamt.de/produkte-e/flammschutzmittel/index.htm

http://www.umweltbundesamt.de/gesundheit-e/stoffe/flammschutz.htm

Sure, the PH builders and planners financed by the chemical industry will have something to say about carcinogenic nano particles from insulants, about mutagenic flame retardents in the materials they recommend?

I mean are there any PH buildings certified in the UK which do not use these high risk substances?
Like rottening straw bale buildings posing a cancer risk via released aspergillus spores, like 'green' buildings in the midle of nowhere or along coastal lines which will be submerged in a few years?

In a differnt forum (Green Building) the organiser of this campaign is telling the readers that his campaign has failed already, less than 200 signatures in 2 month. With 4 billion people taking part in the www., a " free-rifles-for-everyone " campaign couldn't have been more sucessfull. Here he tries to censor oposition with the aid of AECB, the censor being to shy to give reason or answer.

Heinbloed, you do insist on attacking people and desperately try to show how superior to others you are! Your desperation causes you to post abusive remarks, this is why you are censored, not because we don't want the "truth" to be aired! If you want your comments to be taken seriously and not "censored", as you have been from a number of forums, then I suggest you make some reasonable and informed comments that can be taken seriously and not just try and pull everyone down to your level!
