Modelling 2 MVHR units in a domestic dwelling
« on: June 21, 2012, 11:57:59 AM »
I have a large house 650m2 and Andrew at the Green Building Store has recommended 2 x Paul Novus 450 MVHR units  or a 350 and a 450.
How would I deal with this in PHPP?
If its the same unit do I need to worry
If I use two units do I model both and take the average?
thanks
Rachel

Yes need to model both and associated ducts.

PHPP 7 includes a multivent sheet but I have not used it yet. Before that existed we made a sheet to average based on flow per unit. Gives a total vent rate and average efficiency for vent sheet.
