Title: A New Building Eco-Rating Tool for Better Building Design and Build – A Green Apple Award Winning Project

Synopsis:  You are invited to a free lunchtime webinar from NSBM Ltd and Circular Ecology, to learn more about our Green Apple Award winning project – An Eco-rating tool for buildings and construction.

There is an increasing need to improve decision making for sustainable design & build approaches for a Circular Economy whilst simultaneously closing three key ‘gaps’ in construction:

1.   Performance;
2.   Affordability; and
3.   Environmental impacts.

Current tools are sub-optimal and don’t integrate the essential fundamentals to achieve this aim. This webinar will provide an overview of the tool, how it uses data from the Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and qualitative indicators.

The NSBM tool makes an assessment of key sustainability issues impacting people, the community and the planet, including indicators on how to close the three gaps in construction.

The project received recognition for the development of the Eco-rating tool with a Green Apple award for the built environment in April 2015.

New Sustainable Building Model Ltd (NSBM) and Circular Ecology will jointly present the webinar.

Date: Thursday 8th October 2015.

If you can’t make this webinar please feel free to still register. The webinar will be recorded and we will send you a link to the video recording.
