Latest CLR Cohort get a Tour of New Community Centre in Garway

Earlier this week, the latest CLR cohort got the chance to take a look around the site and were given the opportunity to ask the architects and constructors questions. Take a look at the gallery below for some pictures of this tour.

Simmons Mills were part of the design team for  the attractive new, lottery funded Community Centre in Garway, Herefordshire. It is based on proven robust, high performance, low environmental impact construction methods, lighting heating and ventilation systems and materials.  Simmonds Mills  are pleased to share a quote from Malcolm Howard, the Chair of the Village Hall Committee:

Garway Village Hall Charity and the people of Garway are extremely grateful to Simmonds Mills architects and the design team for the very attractive new Community Centre which is being built to a very high standard by William Powell and Sons Ltd, and is scheduled for completion end of December 2017. The Centre is an ecologically sustainable, very energy efficient Passivhaus multi- purpose flexible and accessible building and will be a cost effective local community health/wellbeing and social hub and a great asset for the local community and to others in the surrounding parishes.”
