Three years of experience with thermographic imaging and airtesting on all kinds of buildings have led AECB member Paul Buckingham to the depressing conclusion that almost without exception, buildings in this country are shoddily assembled and fail to meet the standards set. Beattie Passive and Encraft are pleased to be working together on the Coventry ECO House project. These homes will be certified to the Passivhaus energy performance standard and also through the Code for Sustainable Homes at Levels 4 & 6. The homes will be available for social rent and operated by Orbit Heart of England Housing Association. Point 6 Projects Ltd, run by Eddie Acford, has undertaken their most complicated project to date. Oyster Falls is a Passivhaus overlooking the beautiful Croyde Bay in North Devon.
