Business description
Established in 1900 Dewjo’c Architects has been a key regional practice for over 100 years. The practice works in most of the major building sectors including residential, commercial, pharmaceutical, education, health care and building conservation/refurbishment. Over the course of its existence the practice has become increasingly concerned and committed to low energy and ecologically sound design practices.
In seeking to deliver projects of the highest standard the practice has developed in house expertise with an excellent understanding of energy efficiency and building physics, sustainable materials and products specification and the use of on site renewable technologies. This awareness is demonstrated on an increasing number of projects. Advice on sustainable procurement methods is also available.
An increasing number of projects have been BREEAM assessed, a number of which have achieved a BREEAM “Excellent” rating. The practice is eager, to design projects that satisfy the AECB Silver, PassivHaus and Gold standards.
