The AECB is excited to be working with Pheriche to develop a simple on-line, self-certification route for its CarbonLite Silver Standard. The self-certification scheme will be available on-line through the Low Energy Buildings database in the late summer (August).

As the CarbonLite Silver standard is based on the same design and assessment methodology underpinning Passivhaus (but with a different space heating target), those interested in certifying their projects, will need to ensure their buildings have been designed and modelled using the Passivhaus Planning Program (PHPP).
