Clayworks, the Cornwall based creators and manufacturers of pigmented clay plasters for internal wall finishes, have won the ‘ Best Surface Finishes’ category at this years FX International Design Awards. The award is now in its 14th year, and invites design talent from all over the world to enter the very best of interior products and projects. The ceremony was held at the Grosvenor Hotel in London, Thursday November 23, 2012. 

Clayworks have been widely recognised by the sustainable building community in the past few years, but this award marks a major breakthrough as it celebrates the products’ breath-taking beauty and practical design solutions from the mainstream design community.

Clayworks clay plaster also won the ‘Build It’ magazine ‘Best Eco Product of 2012’ award at the end of October and ‘Best Innovation’ at the Cornwall Business Awards earlier in the year. They are also the recipients of the ‘Pioneers to the Life of the Nation’ award by HM the Queen.
