AECB members, Simmonds.Mills Architects, feature in an inspirational film which includes footage of the construction and handover of this Passivhaus certified community building. The short film tells the story of the Green Base’s journey from a derelict piece of land left behind after the demolition of block of flats to an international award-winning community hub for learning about horticulture and sustainability. 

You’ll watch the Green Base and surrounding landscape as it develops over two years and be given an insight into the background of the concept and future aims from Helena’s Chief Executive, Rob Young, and Green Space Manager, Liz Ackerley, as well as tenants, Board members and architects.
