We are a small practice with a very keen interest in low energy buildings, and Passivhaus Design. Mostly involved in one-off self builds working with clients/self builders to help them create their dreams.
This is a low energy, self sufficient timber frame property. It has a green roof, consisting of Epiphytic Bromeliads (air plants), and incorporates among other things, a wood burning room heater fitted with a back boiler. This is fuelled from timber coppiced within the site boundary or from fallen trees.
This is an individually styled, sustainable, highly insulated timber eco home. It is built to a very high quality and performance with a low environmental impact. This dwelling forms part of Whiteway Colony, Cotswolds.
This property was built to Passivhaus standards, which included Logix ICF wall construction. The thermal envelope uses the principle of thermal bridge free construction, with a continuous layer of insulation wrapped around the exterior of the building.
