I have designed and self built a Hemp and lime hut outside my office to show potential clients what sustainable healthy buildings are all about. The roof was later home to 6 photovoltaic panels which helped in bringing down the running costs of the office. All finished with Ty Mawr Strong red Limewash
Brief was to convert 2 cottages into one. They were in a bad state of disrepair with previous improvements only making matters worse. Everything had to be taken back to the bare bones including a new floor throughout. New timber windows together with an Air source Heat pump connected to a log burner. All as presented on BBC Wales
Brief was to add an extension to a tired dormer bungalow. It was soon realised that the way forward was to demolish it and build a contemporary home. Client is ‘over the moon’. Complete with high levels of insulation and good workmanship to get the airtightness down which equals low heating costs
