Hear from Allford Hall Monaghan Morris about how the practice undertakes an action research based approach to inform its projects. Considering AHMM’s new offices, Morelands rooftop, this event focuses on development of future workspaces. Exploring live projects to explain how research and knowledge about building performance is informing future design and management decisions for next generation workspaces. Also exploring how new spaces must consider adaptation to future conditions and climate controls. Looking in detail at the White Collar Factory, Derwent London’s new urban campus underway at Old Street roundabout where innovation and sustainability are central. The event will be introduced by John Davies, Head of Sustainability, Derwent London, with a contribution on the engineering design from Mel Allwood, Sustainability Consultant, Arup. There will also be an opportunity to tour AHMM’s new offices, on the 4th and 5th floor at Morelands to see some of the practice’s sustainability approaches in action.
