Milton Keynes opportunity to see “A 1980s Eco-Home Revisited” – 15th October 2012

October 15, 2012 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

You are invited to see for yourself how one of the properties built for the 1981 “Home World” exhibition has stood the test of time.

Having had only one owner, the property still has its original underfloor heating and 1980s kitchen.  Although in need of updating, this house has impressive levels of insulation and energy features for its age. This is an opportunity for a site visit and discussion before new owners begin works to improve its energy performance.

Monday 15th October 7.30 pm – Coleshill Place, Bradwell Common, Milton Keynes MK13 8DP

Parking is available around the square, but please park considerably.  The bungalow is at the far northern end of Coleshill Place, next to a house that looks like a windmill!

Coming up in November:  How to Avoid Building Damages  A presentation by Declan Furey of  SIGA about their airtightness tape system.  Monday 19th November, Milton Keynes, 7.30 for 8.00 pm.
