Is anyone knowledgeable about grease traps?
I have been asked to source one that does not require chemical cleaners. It would be for commercial use in a hotel. Any advice on the subject or where to find out more would be appreciated. Thanks,
Dominic

I've been looking recently for a smaller domestic system to give some protection to the biorock we intend to install. Below is a link to a supplier that also has some information on the subject.
Given the application I'd assume that a below ground system would be best, with a manhole for cleaning etc.

You're welcome, I could just do with a mini one in a manhole (rather than the under the sink ones) that doesn't cost the Earth!

I used these at South Cheshire college. Main thing is to ensure that other water discharges (especially high temp, high flow commercial dishwashers) are not discharged through the grease trap as they will negate the system. These are mainly for sink wastes.

Thank you Peter, looks similar to another product that I was considering, hopefully it's not a similar price!
