Go to Forum Home › AECB Building Standard › AECB Standard: Self-certification and business insurance
Hi folks,
not sure how well this forum is used, but here goes…
I’ve been asked to quote for a Tender, where they would like me to self-certify a number of dwellings to the AECB standard. My business insurance covers me for energy advice and consultancy, and I’ma certified Passivhaus designer and chartered engineer, but not an architect or certifier. Has anyone had to take out additional insurance in order to cover this type of activity?
many thanks and kind regards,
Florence, humblebee
