The case here is that there are six UPVC windows in a flat. It is not known when the windows were installed but it is likely to be ~10-12yrs ago. The seals for two glazing units have died (condensation in one and 40mm water at the based of the other.)
Considerations:
1) Glazing units
2) Seals
3) Frames
What are the things to watch for and how do you determine the life that is left in a UPVC window frame and double glazed window?
Cheers
Mark
40mm of water suggests to me a frame design fault but I know nothing about PVC windows.
I remember DIY double glazed units in the early days at CAT that were full of water and just crying out for some small fish.
