Board opportunity: Chairman of Adaptation Sub-Committee

Defra is recruiting a new Chair for the Adaptation Sub-Committee (ASC), a sub-committee of the Committee on Climate Change. The current Chair, Lord John Krebs, is expected to step down from his post in January 2017. The Chair of the ASC also sits on the main Committee on Climate Change. As a public appointment, the new Chair will be appointed jointly by the ministers from each of the national authorities and the sponsoring departments, in this case by Defra, DECC, and each of the Devolved Administrations. The advert has been published on the Cabinet Office Public Appointments website, The deadline for applications is 9th June.
