I posted this over on Building Services, but it must belong here.
It occurred to me that the new foundation of our sunroom could contain rainwater storage. The inside of the foundation wall would be about 3.5m x 2.5m x 0.5m or a little over 4m3. I need to fill the hole with something, and I thought that I could connect a drip irrigation setup to water our veg garden and micro orchard. I have no experience of this kind of thing – any suggestions out there? Tanks, milk crates or big rubber bags?

Sketch section added – note there's not much fall to the first bed.

I don't know whether it'll work without at least mains pressure behind it, even seep hose needs some pressure

I think that the underfloor tank could ultimately undermine the U-value of the floor.
