        dear all,

        first of all, thanks for your previous comment for embodied energy of glass.

        has any one got any information (it would be better if it is documented) about imported glass and glazed unit in terms of
        1- where they come from,
        2- type of transportation involved,(sea routes, lorry,..)
        3- energy use for transportation to the UK,
        4- size of imported glass and glazed unit,
        etc.
