Does anyone have experience of using PIV? I am thinking for a property where the airtightness levels are not down to MVHR levels, maybe around a 5/6, with no trickle vents?

Personally I am not convinced that all the input air will be dispersed evenly throughout the dwelling and you may end up with areas of the house that are not properly ventilated?

Having had a presentation on PIV at a recent CIAT CPD, I'm not convinced. There seemed to be a number of flaws and it was ripped to shreds by those present.

It'd be interesting to hear what others think, especially if they have first hand experience of PIV

I've not heard of this before but the term “positive input ventialtion” sounds like an interstitial condensation risk to me (all that warm air being pushed out through the building facade.)
