Rounded Developments Enterprises has started a new resource – http://www.sustainablebuildingresource.com and we are looking for people to post up their experiences, tips, photos, calculations etc. Basically anything to do with sustainable building projects. We wish to create a wiki resource (i.e. editable by all – just like Wikipedia) so that people can learn from others mistakes and successes.
You obviously have a story to tell and experiences to share (good or bad) so please visit the site and upload your knowledge onto the site. Without your comments this resource could be another wasted opportunity.
We have provided a basic structure for information to go onto, but you can alter this if required. It is possible to upload pictures, pdfs, dwgs etc. so hopefully it will eventually look like and be a very valuable resource to anyone looking to find a centralised database of sustainable building projects.
We have engaged with AECB, Welsh School of Architecture and University of Wales Institute Cardiff on this and we hope that the students will be publishing their well researched findings on the site. However the best information is from people who have completed sustainable building projects and are prepared to share their findings in the real world.
