The Self and Custom Build event on Friday 28th April 2017 at Hethel Engineering Centre, Norfolk will provide prospective self-builders with information and guidance to support them on their custom build journey. Spotlighting a variety of informative speakers, including the keynote speaker Richard Bacon MP, (South Norfolk MP) who is championing his Self-build and Custom Housebuilding Act, aimed to make it easier for people to get land and build their own homes. Speakers will also include Local Planners, Build System Suppliers, Architects and Financiers. The event will host an exhibition of suppliers and organisations, providing self and custom builders with the opportunity to gain advice and source suppliers, as well as attending 1-to-1 advise sessions to get answers to their questions all under one roof. With an increasing focus on energy efficiency and low carbon, a range of low carbon energy efficiency solutions will be on show as well as an opportunity to find out more about Passivhaus.
