Greenright Homes continues to build sustainable homes in East Anglia despite the difficult market conditions and the quality of the houses being delivered has been recognised in the receipt of further prestigious awards.  Building on being recipient of the Premier Guarantee Environmental Project of the Year in 2012, Greenright Homes has also recently received awards in the 2013 Suffolk Property Awards (environmental and housing categories), the Bury Free Press 2013 Business Awards (highly commended in the environmental category) and the RICS, East of England 2013 awards (highly commended in the housing category).

Simon Bennett, the founder and managing partner of the company, also serves on various voluntary bodies including the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership Green Economy Pathfinder Board, the Board of Suffolk County Council’s Creating the Greenest County, the Sustainable Built Environment East (SBEE) group and the Board of the Centre for the Built Environment at the University of East Anglia.

Recent articles in UK Construction and the Public Service Information Journal Government Business by Simon Bennett have called for incentivising high performance sustainable homes through reduced stamp duty when they are sold and reduced levels of Council Tax.
