Matthew says; “Austin Design Works is a family-run practice of Architects and Landscape Architects, founded and directed by siblings Rachael and Matthew Austin.  They head a vibrant team of architects and designers working on a range of domestic, commercial and public-realm projects. The practice is now able to provide its clients with a holistic approach from inception to completion of their building and landscape design projects. We know that by joining the AECB we will become part of a solid network of like-minded professionals committed to strong sustainability ethics. We look forward to working collaboratively and incorporating best, and current, practice into our projects to benefit our clients and the environment.”

captureAndrew Connors, Norfolk

Andrew says; “I have always had an interest in environmental aspects and whilst studying for my degree in Architectural Technology I was drawn towards the aspects of environmental design and sustainability with regards to buildings. The AECB provides a useful source of up-to-date research and insightful articles that help to build up my knowledge base. I have a strong interest in PassivHaus concept and the Passivhaus Designer Training Course is something that appeals to me and that I am considering undertaking. I’m hoping that my membership of the AECB will enrich my knowledge of designing new buildings and modifying existing ones to make them more environmentally friendly and that I can utilise this knowledge towards my job and my future career.”
