Meet the group leader:

Hi, I’m Spencer, an architectural designer based in Cobham, working on residential extensions, renovations and new builds in the Surrey, London and South East area.

My passion for environmentally conscious building developed when I moved to New Zealand in 2003. Touring around its many examples of adobe, cob, rammed earth and straw bale homes was a true inspiration to me. In contrast, is the First Light House, which took third place in the US Department of Energy’s 2011 Solar Decathlon competition. Being part of the team that assembled and then exhibited this modular, timber framed, passivhaus, high tech, net-energy zero house in Washington DC gave me an experience of the opposite end of the sustainable building scale.

Those homes and all the ones in-between inspired me to start Antevasin Design and promote the design and creation of houses that are efficient, healthy, affordable, beautiful and that clients can call home.

I look forward to meeting you at one of our Surrey group events.”
