Jessica Grove-Smith of the Passivhaus Institute will present the new Passivhaus standards and provide an overview of the new features and functionality of PHPP v9.
As Passivhaus continues to grow both in the UK the rest of Europe, the Passivhaus Institute has introduced new categories for its building certification; in addition to the established ‘Passivhaus Classic’, there are the ‘Passivhaus Plus’ and ‘Passivhaus Premium’ which include the use of renewable energy generation in the certification assessment.
In PHPP v9, a new evaluation procedure focusing on ‘Primary Energy Renewable’ (PER) target will replace the ‘Primary Energy’ (PE) criteria with new worksheets entitled ‘Cost Comparison’ and ‘PV’.
