Silver Standard Certification

The AECB is excited to be working with Pheriche to develop a simple on-line, self-certification route for its CarbonLite Silver Standard. The self-certification scheme will be available on-line through the Low Energy Buildings database in the late summer (August). As the CarbonLite Silver standard is based on the same design and assessment methodology underpinning Passivhaus (but with a different space heating target), those interested in certifying their projects, will need to ensure their buildings have been designed and modelled using the Passivhaus Planning Program (PHPP). Details of how to self certify projects on-line will be available over the coming weeks.
