Green&Blue through to finals of the Countryside Alliance Awards.

AECB members, Green&Blue, are through to the finals of the Countryside Alliance Awards, known as the Rural Oscars. Having won the South West Rural enterprise category they have now been invited to attend a ceremony at the House of Lords in April, hosted by the environment secretary, the Rt Hon Michael Gove, where they will discover if they’ve beaten off tough competition to be named the overall winner in the Category.

We’re honoured to win such high profile recognition for what we’re doing at Green&Blue,” said Faye Clifton, sales and marketing manager. “And we’re looking forward to our visit to the House of Lords, and the opportunity to discuss the Bee Brick with high profile policy makers.”

The Countryside Alliance works to protect rural life at parliament, in the media and on the ground and the awards are an annual celebration of British food and farming, enterprise and heritage through small hard-working rural businesses. The awards are in their 13th year and are nicknamed the Rural Oscars.
